Belair, new subdivisions and a grand view accross Lake Winnipeg, just south of Hillside Beach Road. Many of the first families still have properties in the area and some of the streets are named after the first families.
Belair, situated on the western end of Belair Provincial Forest has several subdivisions with cottages. Most of the coast line is very rocky with no sand, though the properties along the lake are a little higher up than at most other beaches - giving them a magnificient view accross Lake Winnipeg.
On a clear day you can see all the way to Gimli.
The Area is divided by Lakeshore Drive and there are many developments in the area. On the east side you'll find Pinewood Cove and Pinegrove Estates; while on the west side (the lake side) there are the subdivisions: Shoreline Properties; Pebble Springs and Henry Pauls Development, just to name a few.
Most of the shoreline is rugged, but from these shores, you can get some of the best sunset views you'll ever see. The eastern shores offer gorgeous swimming beaches; excellent fishing; boreal forests; boating; trails for off-road vehicles; hiking or cross-country skiing.
